ON A TOTALLY SEPARATE NOTE
We want to acknowledge the excellent work by our Medic Team this past summer.
We were so thankful to receive a note from Alvin Lepp, Andrew’s father, about the positive outcome of his son Andrew and the crash that occurred in Pilot Mound at our last event. By all accounts our team did all the right things in their prep to ensure Andrew got to the ambulance and the hospital safely. This team has been nothing but professional throughout our entire season, always showing up on time and ready to go. They jump in wherever they are needed be it grabbing a flag and ensuring the safety of a downed rider, or packing up tearing down at the end of the day. They have been a pleasure to work with and we always had the highest degree of confidence in their assessment and care throughout the season!
A big thank you to the mx community, and specifically the medics on site who helped me after my recent crash at the pilot Mound Mx race. The crash caused a burst T6 vertebrae fracture so the precautions and work done by the medics to keep me stabilized was critical and so well done to ensure that I will get to a full recovery without spinal damage. Thanks to everyone who has sent out messages of prayers and support it is greatly appreciated! And if anyone has footage, please let me know!
